What’s Worth 10 Years of Your Life?
By now, you’ve certainly heard of Jimmy Donaldson, a.k.a MrBeast on YouTube.
10 years ago, on Oct 4, 2015, when he was 17 years old, he shot a video to his future 2025 self.

In the video, he ponders many questions about what his life will be like in 10 years:
Will I have finished college?
Will I be married?
Will I still be doing Youtube?
Will I be… dead?
By far, though, his number one hope was to have one million subscribers.

Just yesterday, his 10-year video went live, and his results are staggering.
At the time he shot the video on Oct 5, 2015, he had 8.7K subscribers.
Today, 10 years later, he has not just one million subs, but 443M subs.
Such an inspiring story of what’s possible when you obsess on one goal for 10 years.
What’s worth 10 years of your life?
Personally, I’m committed to being a stand for conscious living and peaceful, spiritually-inspired leadership (of myself and others). I want to be an example and an advocate for healthy communication.
I’ll call my shot now. Let’s see where I am on Oct 5, 2035.
Whatever’s worth 10 years of your life, spend at least 10 minutes on it today.

Improve Sleep Dramatically with this Clock
In the mornings, I’d check emails before getting out of bed. My day was highjacked with 101 distractions and emergencies before my feet even hit the ground.
Then, at night, I’d doom-scroll socials from bed, staying up way later than I should.
Then I wised up:
No more phone in bedroom.
But how to wake up?
I went old-school with this kind of clock. It’s been a game-changer:

Dimmable display to limit room light.
Adjustable volume to cut through my earplugs.
Has both wall plug and batteries so there’s backup in case electricity goes out.

1902: birth of Ray Kroc (McDonald’s)

Although he didn’t invent McDonald’s, he sure built it.
In 1954, at age 52, he was a milkshake machine salesman. He visited a small hamburger restaurant in California owned by Richard and Maurice McDonald.
Kroc was amazed with the speed of their operation. He asked to franchise the concept.
In 1961, he bought the business outright. There are differing opinions on how ethical Kroc was during that acquisition.
His story is inspirational to anyone who wonders if they’ve screwed up, they’re too old, or too late to be successful.
Ray was 59 when he bought McDonald’s. He ran it for only 12 years before retiring in 1973. His net worth at the time of his death in 1984 was more than $500M. Adjusted to today’s money, that’s around $1.56B.
Not bad for a guy who really only found his path at age 59.
I highly recommend watching the movie The Founder, based on the rise of Ray Kroc and McDonald’s. Incredible movie. Michael Keaton crushes the Ray Kroc role.
2011: death of Steve Jobs (Apple)

One of my favorite stories about Steve Jobs is how he saved Apple from bankruptcy by dramatically simplifying their product line.
In 1985, he was ousted from the company after a power struggle with the board.
In 1997, he returned. He immediately, dramatically, reduced Apple’s offerings.
They had over 70+ products, spanning from laptops to desktops, photocopiers, printers and servers.
He slashed the lineup to just 4: consumer & pro laptops, and consumer & pro desktops.
This saved the company.
He’s credited with pioneering at least 6 industries:
animated movies (Pixar)
personal computers (Apple, Macintosh, MacBook)
mp3 players (iPod)
digital music sales (iTunes)
smartphones (iPhone)
tablets (iPad)
Many would say he also overhauled retail with the innovative layouts of Apple Stores.
He will live on with mixed reviews given his tempestous energy.
There’s also no doubt he soaked up a lot of spotlight that rightly belonged to his teammates, including his co-founder Steve Wozniak.
Steve Jobs will carry on, debated, for years to come.
Case Study: How Bill Harrison Saved Hundreds of Hours
Entrepreneur Bill Harrison and his team at AuthorSuccess.com were significant players in helping promote iconic titles like:

Bill Harrison
Rich Dad, Poor Dad (Robert Kiyosaki)
Chicken Soup for the Soul (Jack Canfield)
Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus (John Gray)
I met Bill in September 2014.
We were both in Chicago attending The Star Principle workshop hosted by Perry Marshall, featuring (soon-to-be) billionaire Richard Koch.
This room was LOADED. Pretty much every star you could think of from the world of marketing was there.
On one of the breaks, I spotted Bill Harrison grabbing coffee at the back of the room, so I approached.
Candidly, I was a bit star-struck. To my great relief, Bill was extremely kind. He even invited me to grab lunch with him.
In the years since, he’s been an incredible supporter of everything I’ve done. He’s purchased every single course I’ve created and taken every call I’ve ever requested.
Imagine my delight when he asked if I could help him find an Executive Assistant.
We did. Here’s what Bill had to say about his experience:
Hi Tim,
I'm absolutely thrilled with the Great Assistant you matched me with!
She hit the ground running and almost immediately started saving me at least five hours a week—while steadily taking more and more off my plate.
In 40 years of business, she’s one of the best people I’ve ever hired, and I couldn’t be happier.
I’ll admit, I was initially hesitant about using your service. I’ve hired many employees over the years and felt very confident in my own process.
But your service saved me an enormous amount of time compared with doing it in-house.
Your team was great to work with and I was surprised how many fresh insights about hiring I came away with.
What impressed me most was that you found someone who not only has excellent skills but also a terrific attitude and work ethic—qualities that are hard to find these days.
I would strongly recommend your service to any entrepreneur looking for an Assistant (which should be everyone if they don't already have an Assistant).
